We are happy to announce that after 13 month's of being sidelined with what years ago would be a career ending injury that Mac Jagger is entered to make his return to the starting gate. Mac is entered to run on Friday, January 10th at Gulfstream Park Racetrack. It is the 9th race, an Allowance Optional Claimer, going 1 mile, on dirt, for a purse of $51,000. Big Mac is post 9 in a field of 11 horses and will have the 2019 US leading rider, Irad Ortiz Jr., in the irons. Post time for the race is 4:38 pm EST and can be seen on TVG.

Mac enters a tough field of veteran horses for his comeback. He has been training very well and looks fantastic. We were on hand to see his last work on Jan 3rd and it was a solid half mile breeze with a 7 furlong gallop out. Trainer Todd Pletcher is very happy with the now 5 year old gelding and how he has been training toward his comeback. Todd tells me that his leg is perfect and that you could not tell which was the injured leg. On a personal note, we love this horse and we are absolutely thrilled to see this "VERY COOL" horse entered to run again. We are grateful to Gerard Butler at JJ Pletcher's Payson Training Center, Dr. Cantrell (Mac's vet), and everyone involved in working with MJ to get him back to the track. A big "Thank You" to the partners involved in this horse, their patience, understanding, and love for Big Mac.

We wish Mac Jagger and Jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. a SAFE trip.
